Stu Taylor's connection to Octobriana began by co-publishing the award-winning Revolution Comics' Octobriana mini-series in 1996, which he followed by writing and publishing the Octobriana: Filling in the Blanks mini series and 'I Fell In Love With A Russian Devil-Woman' for the Romantic Tails anthology. To unpick the mystery of the character’s origins, Stu recently interviewed some of those involved with the history of Octobriana, including the book’s original publisher Tom Stacey (pictured) and David Bowie's chosen lead for his planned Octobriana movie, Amanda Lear.

With a background in pop culture and video game magazine editing and publishing, Stu has been working in the entertainment industry for over 20 years. As well as strips and series work published for the likes of 2000AD, Marvel Comics, Toxic and Games Workshop, Stu is also co-host and producer on the BAM ComicsCast and Read This Comic (Before You Die) podcasts.

Splitting his time between the UK and Canada (Montreal), Stu runs Dead Good Media, a multi award-winning video game PR agency.
